Ubisoft made quite a few big announcements at E3 2012 last night, chief among which being Assassin’s Creed III that received not just a new cinematic trailer but also a lengthy gameplay video that showed the new protagonist, Connor, in action.

Assassin’s Creed III is set to introduce a wide array of changes to Ubisoft’s long-running franchise, from a new protagonist, in the form of the half-British, half-Native American Connor, to a new historical setting – the American Revolution.

After seeing a video and hearing plenty of details up until now, Ubisoft decided to shed some more light on the game at its E3 2012 press conference last night.

The French company began with a new cinematic trailer, which once again focused on the American Revolution and how Connor will play a huge role in the conflict.

Right after that, Ubisoft presented a gameplay trailer with the upcoming action adventure title, showing one of Connor’s many missions.

The French publisher also highlighted the key features of Assassin’s Creed III, which you can check out below.
