Ubisoft is getting ready to debut Assassin’s Creed 3 this October and now, in order to give PlayStation 3 owners a chance to catch up with the previous titles, the French publisher has confirmed that in November, a special Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy will be released for the Sony home console.

The Assassin’s Creed series kicked off with the first game back in 2007, but only in 2009, with the release of Assassin’s Creed 2 and the introduction of a new playable character, Ezio Auditore, did the franchise really take off.

After two more games with the Italian hero, the series is getting ready for another major change, as Assassin’s Creed III introduces Connor, an assassin that was instrumental in fighting the Templars during the American Revolution.

Now, as a special treat for those who’ve yet to try out previous games in the series, Ubisoft has confirmed that a special Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy pack will be released for the PlayStation 3 in November.

Check out the descriptions of the three games included in the trilogy, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, below.

Meet Ezio, the dashing hero of the Italian Renaissance in Assassin’s Creed II as he embarks on a quest to avenge his fallen family members and uncover a despicable plot that threatens to plunge all of Italy into chaos!

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood picks up immediately following the events of AC2, and follows Ezio as he delves deep into the heart of corruption in Rome, and rises to a position of prominence and leadership in the Brotherhood.

In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Ezio has become an older, wiser leader of the Assassins… his path will lead him to exotic Constantinople in search of truth, but will he find it within the ancient homelands of the Assassins?

The Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy will be released on November 13, in North America, and will cost $39.99 (around €31). As of yet, it’s unclear if the bundle will be released in other regions, like Europe.
