The recent multiplayer issues encountered by Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood players on the Xbox 360 have been eliminated recently, as Ubisoft fixed the online problems.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on the Xbox 360 has been on the receiving end of a new update released by Ubisoft a few days ago, but it seems that the patch didn't really have the desired effect, as it ended up breaking the game's multiplayer mode.

The recent patch was set to prepare the game for its next round of downloadable content, as well as "some major changes".

Sadly, for Brotherhood players, things got a lot worse, as after they installed the update, the multiplayer mode would no longer function, thus cutting them off from the possibility of assassinating their friends online.

Ubisoft got right on it, and it seems that the problem is now solved.

According to the company, the problem was with the multiplayer servers, as they didn't recognize the updated titles as being legitimate, thus cutting them off.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is going to receive a brand new batch of downloadable content in the near future, as the French company will deploy the Animus Project Update 2.0, which will add a new map and a fresh mode for the multiplayer portion of Brotherhood.

The map is called Pienza and "provides the perfect free-running playground where predators and targets can blend and disappear," while the game mode is called Chest Capture and focuses on players acting as team against their enemies.

The title already received the Animus Project Update 1.0 last year, which also packed a new map and a mode.

This first update added the Mont Saint-Michel map to the game, as well as the Advanced Alliance mode, which took the regular Alliance one to a new level.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will get the Animus Project Update 2.0 at the end of the month.
