Ubisoft has confirmed that two of its biggest games that will be released this year, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs, will have shared Easter Eggs and their universes might even be linked in some ways.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is out in October and Watch Dogs is coming this November, both on current platforms, like PC, PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii U, but also on next-gen consoles, like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Given their proximity and the fact that they're both made by Ubisoft Montreal, in collaboration with other studios, fans have debated over whether they'll have a shared universe.

According to Assassin's Creed 4 Game Director Ashraf Ismail, who talked with ElderGeek, there will be a big surprise in the two games, as well as quite a few hard to find Easter Eggs that will "blow the mind" of players.

Ismail didn't offer other details, so fans will have to wait until both games are released to see if there's any link.
