14 DAY TRIAL // Ubisoft has confirmed that it's running a special Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag multiplayer event this weekend called Uncertain Alliances and is offering PS3 and PS4 owners a double XP bonus throughout these days.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag impressed millions of gamers around the world, appearing on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One back in November.
Since then, Ubisoft has kept on organizing different multiplayer events that challenged players with completing certain tasks or matches in order to earn extra goodies or bonuses.
For this weekend, the French studio is at it again, holding the Uncertain Alliances multiplayer event for Black Flag, as well as a special double XP bonus for PS3 and PS4 owners of the game.
After confirming earlier today that the event is underway, a full set of details has appeared confirming the actual rewards and mechanics, not to mention the end time.
"First, a special event is coming: For Uncertain Alliances, you will have to work as a team in order to hunt down the other team or to hide from your pursuers. During the whole event, you'll be provided with objectives to complete. Each of these objectives will unlock exclusive content (you will find a list of objectives and rewards below)," the studio said on the PS forums.
"Secondly, we are giving away to all PS3 and PS4 players a 100% XP bonus. You will double the amount of experience points you would normally get!"

Objectives and rewards:
Individual Goal: Earn a Focus Bonus (15 times)
Individual Reward: 1 Patron Picture for each playable character
Participation Goal: Complete a session in the event playlist
Participation Reward: Achieve the title "The Opportunist"
Community Reward: Unlock exclusive Assassin costumes by reaching the community objective. Find out what the community objectives are by logging in to Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.
The event ends at 11:59pm PT on January 19 so make sure you get in your play time until then.
