Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, the next installment in the action adventure series, will be delayed on the PC, just like previous games in the franchise, according to Game Director Ashraf Ismail.

Ubisoft doesn't have the best of reputations amongst PC gamers, as most of its big games are usually delayed a few weeks on the PC platform and appear first on consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, the next game in the series, will appear on a variety of platforms including PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

According to Game Director Ashraf Ismail, who talked with ElderGeek, the game will appear first in October for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U, a few weeks after for the PC, and will be a launch day game for both the PS4 and Xbox One.

Ismail promised that the PC version will receive special care from his team and noted that the wait will be worth it.
