Carston Myhill, a content manager working on Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag at Ubisoft, says that his team has a number of very interesting ideas for the new Dual Shock 4 controller that the PlayStation 4 home console will ship with.

The developer tells The Official PlayStation Magazine that “You imagine a rich epic vibrant world like the Caribbean is ideal visually to take advantage of the horsepower of the PS4.”

He adds, “We’ll be supporting the new controller as well, we’ve got some very cool ideas for that.”

More details about how Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will use the new controller will be offered in the coming months, when the game is demoed in playable form.

The new Assassin’s Creed title will be launched on October 29 on the PS4, the PC, next-gen consoles and current-gen devices.
