Tweaked controls and a better camera have made sailing a ship more fun

Sailing your ship in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be much more fun than in last year's Assassin's Creed 3, as Ubisoft has detailed some of the small tweaks it's done to the naval system that make the ships more responsive and easier to control at high speeds.

The naval warfare portion of Assassin's Creed 3 was quite popular, but some players complained of how hard the ship piloted by the hero, Connor, handled on the sea.

In Black Flag, protagonist Edward Kenway has a more maneuverable ship, in the form of the Jackdaw, which can be controlled much easier and has a third-speed level, in which the camera zooms out a bit so that more of the surrounding sea can be admired by players.

This, according to the UbiBlog, makes handling the ship more fun, especially when combined with the tweaks regarding the actual steering.
