Ubisoft is set to reveal its next Assassin's Creed game tomorrow, February 27, but now a poster and a screenshot have been leaked online, confirming that the game is called Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and that it stars Edward Kenway.

UPDATE: A map of Assassin's Creed 4's world has also been leaked, confirming that the title takes place in the Caribbean.

UPDATE #2: It's now official, the next game is Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. Learn more details here.

Assassin's Creed 3 impressed lots of people but now Ubisoft is getting ready to release a brand new installment this year that stars a whole new protagonist in a new historical setting.

Now, after several reports earlier this month, two images have leaked online.

First up is a poster from Kotaku that's supposedly been sent to retail stores, confirming that the next game is Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and that it stars a brand new protagonist with a special pirate theme.

What's more, The Examiner also claims to have found an actual screenshot of the new game with its protagonist, Edward Kenway, the father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Connor Kenway, two characters who starred in Assassin's Creed 3.

Edward was apparently a pirate in his early life, sailing between different locations in the Caribbean like Jamaica, Cuba, or the Bahamas.

As of yet, Ubisoft hasn't commented on these rumors.
