After the official confirmation of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag earlier this week and after hearing a lot of different details about the game, a batch of brand new screenshots have appeared on the web, showcasing protagonist Edward Kenway, different naval battles, and plenty of diversified locations.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the next installment in Ubisoft's extremely popular series and, as opposed to previous titles, it goes back in history after Assassin's Creed 3's American Revolution.

In the new game, players control Edward Kenway, the grandfather of the previous game's hero Connor, who was both an assassin and a feared pirate in the Caribbean.

After checking out some great videos with Kenway and a few screenshots, some new images have appeared online, via GameNTrain.

The screenshots, available in the gallery below, show Kenway in action both as an assassin and as a feared pirate. Quite a few naval battles and plenty of impressive locations are also pictured, so check out all the images.
