After a rumor appeared earlier this year, Ubisoft has now confirmed that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 would be released after the launch of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game.

Ubisoft has always brought its big games onto the PC platform but, unfortunately, almost all of them arrived well after the titles appeared for consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

While it seemed at first that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III would appear at the same time on all three platforms, a rumor appeared a few months ago, mentioning that the traditional delay would once again be made to the PC version.

Now, Ubisoft has confirmed the move through the voice of its Creative Lead, Alex Hutchinson, who revealed at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con that the PC version would be released after the PS3 and Xbox 360 ones.

A concrete launch date isn’t known as of yet, but Hutchinson revealed that PC owners would get to play Assassin’s Creed 3 before Christmas.
