14 DAY TRIAL // After revealing more details last month, Ubisoft has now revealed the actual release dates of the three-part The Tyranny of King Washington expansion for Assassin's Creed 3, while confirming the different abilities that will be added by the DLC.
Assassin's Creed 3 delivered not just a top-notch single-player story, focusing both on Desmond and his American Revolution ancestor – Connor (aka Ratonhnhaké:ton) – but also a great multiplayer experience.
Now, after already releasing two different add-ons that focused on both modes, Ubisoft is getting ready to add a separate story that sees Connor take down George Washington who, instead of becoming the first president of the United States of America, chooses to become its king, using the power of the Piece of Eden.
After hearing quite a few details last month, Ubisoft has now confirmed just when the three parts that make up The Tyranny of King Washington will be released.
The first chapter, The Infamy, is out on February 19, followed by the second part, The Betrayal, on March 19. The last piece of the DLC, The Redemption, will be released on April 23.

Besides offering a brand new story campaign, the DLC also includes new abilities for Connor, from increased strength, to speed, camouflage, and even the power to command a pack of wolves.
Power of the Bear – Fills Ratonhnhaké:ton with the strength and fury of the mighty bear. Power of the Eagle – Delivers a burst of speed, empowering Ratonhnhaké:ton with blinding agility. Power of the Wolf – Adopt the master camouflage of the wolf, rendering Ratonhnhaké:ton undetectable. Warpaint – A symbol of power and courage enhancing Ratonhnhaké:ton’s abilities. Alpha of the Pack – Command a brotherhood of fearsome and ruthless wolves.
Each of the three chapters of The Tyranny of King Washington DLC will be available for a fee, but those who got the Assassin's Creed 3 Season Pass can get them for free. They'll also be made available for the Wii U version of Assassin's Creed 3 at a later time.
