Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed 3, its latest action game, had sold over 3.5 million units in its first week alone.
Assassin's Creed 3 was eagerly awaited by millions of fans from all over the world and, despite the fact that it was released last week only on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as the PC and Wii U versions will appear later this month, the game has already impressed.
According to a statement from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, over 3.5 million copies of Assassin's Creed III have been sold worldwide, representing a year-on-year increase, as opposed to Assassin's Creed: Revelations, of over 100%.
You can expect these already impressive figures to grow even more later this month, when the game arrives on the PC and Nintendo Wii U platforms.
Until then, you can still buy it for the PS3 and Xbox 360 home consoles.
