Assassin’s Creed 3 Naval Warfare Trailer Leaked Ahead of Gamescom Reveal

It seems that the special Naval Warfare video for Assassin’s Creed 3 was leaked earlier than Ubisoft had hoped, as the trailer is now available on YouTube ahead of its actual reveal at Gamescom 2012 later today.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is set to feature all sorts of impressive mechanics and, as a first for the franchise, it’s going to allow players to engage in naval battles against multiple ships on the open sea.

We already heard about the feature back at E3 2012 in June, but Ubisoft promised to reveal a special trailer designed to accurately show off the mechanic later today, ahead of the Gamescom 2012 conference. Sadly, this trailer has just been leaked on YouTube.

As you can see in the video above, battles on the sea will be quite intense, although you can bet that players will need sharp strategy skills in order to become victorious.

Expect to hear more about Assassin’s Creed 3 soon, after Ubisoft shows it off during its Gamescom 2012 press conference.
