Ubisoft has confirmed that it will release a patch for Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation onto the PlayStation Vita platform, which will finally solve the ongoing glitch that affects a player’s save files.

Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation was eagerly awaited by lots of PS Vita owners from all over the world, as the recently released platform was in desperate need of blockbuster experiences.

After arriving onto the portable console at the end of October, users quickly encountered a particularly nasty glitch that resulted in the corruption of their save files.

Now, Ubisoft has finally released an official statement concerning the issue to Joystiq, confirming that the development team is “finalizing the first patch” for the game, which will “address the save game corruption issue.”

Sadly, there’s no actual release date for the patch, so it’s unclear when Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation will be updated.
