Ubisoft hosted a special demo of Assassin’s Creed 3 at E3 2012 last week and has now posted a full video playthrough, complete with commentary from the game’s Creative Director, Alex Hutchinson.

Assassin’s Creed III is set to introduce a whole array of new things to the action adventure series, including a new protagonist and a new historical setting.

We already admired two impressive videos last week, during E3 2012, but now Ubisoft has posted a video playthrough of the game’s demo that was playable on the show floor.

In the footage above, you can see Creative Director Alex Hutchinson talk about the array of improvements baked into Assassin’s Creed 3, as well as see some of them in action.

The demo, which takes place in the Frontier zone of the game’s world, sees the protagonist, Connor, fight his way into a fort occupied by British forces, as well as explore the woods in order to hunt for wild animals.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is out this October for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii U.
