A lot of people are interested in Assassin’s Creed 3, as Ubisoft has now confirmed that the new title has broken its internal pre-order records.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is out next week for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and will be released next month for the PC and Nintendo Wii U platforms.

According to publisher Ubisoft, the title has already broken its internal pre-order records, set by last year’s Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

"Pre-orders for Assassin's Creed 3 at GameStop are 100% higher than last year, putting the game on track to be one of the top titles of 2012," GameStop’s Vice President of international merchandising and marketing, Michael van den Berg, told CVG.

Considering the array of platforms it will appear on, as well as the fact that it introduces a new protagonist and a new historical setting, it’s not that surprising that the new game is in such high demand.

Look forward to its release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 30, and next month for PC and Wii U.
