Ubisoft kicks off a new chapter in the Assassin's Creed series this fall

Ubisoft has finally revealed a release date for its upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 game, promising to deliver the next chapter in its hugely successful adventure series on October 30.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has been around for quite some time, delighting lots of people with its yearly installments.

After last year’s Revelations, which went on to sell over 7 million copies, Ubisoft wants to kick off a new chapter with Assassin’s Creed 3. We’ve already heard a few things about the game, including the fact that it might be set during the American Revolution.

Now, the French company has confirmed a release date for the new game, as Assassin’s Creed 3 will arrive on October 30, for platforms like the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot promised fans that the next game would deliver a next generation experience in terms of interactive entertainment and storytelling. He also mentioned that the company was investing heavily in the game, so fans could look forward to a having a great time with it this fall.

No other details were given about the game so, until other official details arrive, expect to hear some more rumors and speculations.
