It's a leaking avalanche these days....

The most wanted game of the holiday season is surely Assassin's Creed and now it's available, but not for us legit gamers, as it's been leaked online. I'm betting that the people over at Ubisoft are investigating the source of the leak right now, but even if the guilty employee gets fired, the company's already losing money because of this "intentional human error".

Want to know what's also leaked on the Internet? Mass Effect, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Call of Duty 4, Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles, probably the best titles you'll be seeing in game shops this week. Sometimes, I think that leaking games is some sort of conspiracy because it happens on a regular basis and usually plagues great titles. However, major blockbusters always sell well, because their fanbase is mostly made out of people who would spend their savings in order to get their hands on an original copy of the new title.

Back to the leak of the day, Assassin's Creed will be made available (officially) in the following days, in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, while the PC and DS titles will be ready to take over the world in early 2008. We're dealing with an action adventure title that somewhat resembles Prince of Persia, but takes its concept to an entirely different level adding an extra bit of stealthiness to the entire experience. Plunge into a medieval setting, assassinate your targets, stay in the shadows and hide in the crowd.

The main character of the Ubisoft's masterpiece is Altair, a mysterious assassin who has to slay historic leaders and other major medieval figures in order to fulfill his "hitman-style" missions. Keep in touch for a full review of the game, as we're waiting for a copy of Assassin's Creed which is on its way right now!
