Acer's Aspire series of mobile computers definitely got a bit larger with the addition of all the new notebooks unveiled at CES 2011, like a trio of high-end gaming notebooks based on Intel's new CPUs.

As some end-users may have found out, Acer has quite a few things on display at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show.

In terms of mobile computers, the company released a certain Aspire 5253 notebook which uses one of AMD's Fusion-based APUs.

Of course, since Intel also released a bunch of new central processing units, it was inevitable that the world-class PC maker would make use of it.

Thus is was that not one or two, but three high-end notebooks were created dubbed Aspire 5750, 5750G and Aspire 7750G.

The first two have a display size of 15.6 while the third is larger, at 17.3 inches, as well as equipped with some better hardware components.

Regardless, all three utilize the Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core CPU, a processor that, in this case, is backed up by up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM.

They also have a storage capacity of up to 640 GB on the 15.6-inch models and 750 GB on the 7750G, plus a DVD writer and a Blu-ray drive, respectively.

What's more, discrete graphics, like the GeForce GT 540M from NVIDIA, are available as options, as the built-in GPU in the central processor can't really handle many games.

Granted, the GT 540M is only available to the 15.6-inch Aspire 5750 and 5750G, as the 17.3-inch Aspire 7750G boasts, instead, either the Radeon HD 6550 or 6650 graphics.

Finally, the clear.fi technology lets the newcomers connect easily to other Acer devices, while the HDMI port allows streaming to HDTVs. Dolby Advanced Audio v2 virtual surround sound can be seen as a bonus.

Acer's press release says that the starting prices of the Aspire 5750 and 5750G is of $900, while the 7750G starts at $1,030.
