14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly after Gameloft unveiled the release date of its highly anticipated Modern Combat 5: Blackout mobile game, the French company announced that Asphalt 8: Airborne arcade racer received an important update on the Windows Phone platform.
Obviously, the most important is the introduction of new cars, which players can add to their collections. Some of the new cars that can be unlocked in limited-time event cups include: Chrysler ME 412, Ferrari FF, Ford 2006 GT, Ford Mustang2015, Mercedes CLK-GTR, and Mercedes SLS AMG.
Another major change included in this update is the fact that rental fees for events have been removed and replaced with a new fuel system that would now allow players to enter Time-Limited Events.
Developers have also confirmed that the update brings an extra tank, which is a new booster designed for players who are new to the game and want an even playing field with the veteran racers. New rewards for those who collect the cars have been added as well.
You can now download Asphalt 8: Airborne for Windows Phone 1.4.1.2 for free via Windows Phone Store. The new version of the game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up (including Windows Phone 8.1).
