One of the biggest updates for the Asphalt 8: Airborne game since its launch on Android platform has just arrived. Dubbed “Welcome to the Great Wall,” the update is now available for download via Google Play Store.

If you haven’t guessed by now, the update’s theme is China, so expected to see new tracks in the Mainland. In fact, according to Gameloft, the update has been specially released in celebration of the Year of the Horse.

Android players will now be able to explore the new Far East: Race episode, which includes some “gorgeous new Asian-inspired locations”

Developers have confirmed that the Great Wall update contains no less than 6 new tracks that should offer a unique gameplay experience.

Aside from the 6 new tracks that players will be able race on, Gameloft has announced that new cars are coming to Asphalt 8: Airborne as well.

McLaren P1, Ferrari Testarossa, Dodge Challenger and the Ford F-150 2014 are just some of the new cars that players will be able to take for a ride.

Those who already have the game installed on their devices should check for the new update right away, while new players can now download Asphalt 8: Airborne for Android 1.3.0 for free via Softpedia. The game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
