Ashton Kutcher has started developing a new project loosely inspired from his life.
Kutcher is to produce a sitcom pilot for Fox TV. The main character of the show will be a young Chicago club owner, whose marriage to a 40-something businesswoman makes him stepfather to kids who are almost as old as he is.
Kutcher (27) married Moore (42) in September this year. He is now the stepfather of Demi's three daughters: Rumer (17), Scout (14) and Tallulah (11).
It seems that art does imitate life for Ashton.
And yet, producers say the sitcom has nothing to do with the Ashton & Demi union.
They call it instead a "very modern, messy look at an extended American family", also revealing some parts of the plot: soon after the wedding, the bride discovers she's pregnant and so does her 22-year-old unmarried daughter.
Best known as the "Punk'd" star, Kutcher first became famous as a model after winning the Fresh Faces of Iowa contest in 1997.
He has since starred film roles in "Dude, Where's My Car?", "Just Married" and "The Butterfly Effect."
