A new flavor of the Ask Ziggy application is now available for download through the Windows Phone Store, bringing along support for the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile operating system, Windows Phone 8.

The new app release, namely version 2.8.1, brings along not only support for Windows Phone 8, but also delivers a new app icon, along with a new speech to text provider.

Furthermore, the application is said to feature only the most popular languages in the list of those available for translation.

As WPCentral explains, Ask Ziggy was launched as a speech-powered interface through which Windows Phone applications can be easily activated.

The software can be used for searching contacts on the smartphone, checking the weather or calendar, as well as for other actions. The app is available in the Windows Phone Store via this link.
