14 DAY TRIAL // Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis plan to keep it in the family, it seems, as reports are beginning to come in that Mila has chosen as a midwife Ashton's sister-in-law, as well as a pregnancy overseer, sticking by Mila's side all through her nine months.
Mila Kunis has just recently admitted to her pregnancy to Ashton Kutcher, although, in later weeks, it became very evident that she was with child. It was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that Mila came clean and also took the time to speak about the peculiarities of her baby-making progress.
She revealed that she planned to have a birth as natural as possible, even shunning the idea of an epidural, an injection meant to numb the pain of childbirth. Radar reveals that Ashton's sister-in-law, Katie Hightower, the woman who married Ashton's twin brother Michael in February, is set to become a doula or a midwife and has agreed to stay by Mila's side throughout her pregnancy.
“Mila asked her to do it and, of course, she’s thrilled to be there for her. They’ve gotten really close,” a source claims. They will be in contact, despite the fact that Katie lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mila in Los Angeles.
“Katie will be the one caring for Mila on a day-to-day basis if Mila needs any advice throughout the pregnancy. And she’ll be in the delivery room. She’ll guide Mila during her pregnancy emotionally and provide her with important information about childbirth, breastfeeding, what to eat, how to stretch, how to care for her baby, and even examine her when possible,” the source explains.
Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Ashton was “100%” behind Mila when she told him she wanted to give birth naturally to the baby.
Mila won't be Katie's first “patient” so to speak, since she is also the doula for Kutcher's older sister, Tausha Kutcher. Tausha got married in April and she's expecting her second child, so Katie will be able to get some experience before Ashton's baby is ready to be born.
Talking to Ellen DeGeneres on her show about the pregnancy, Mila claimed that she has the weirdest cravings, which include dill pickles and sauerkraut. Naturally, a dependency to such a stinky food has created some funny situations in the house, but Ashton is said to have been the perfect father-to-be so far.
Attentive and caring, Ashton has already sold his previous home based on the fact that it wasn't suitable for children and bought a whole new place that will be child-proof by the time the baby gets here.
