14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly after word got out online that Sara Leal had a one-night stand with Ashton Kutcher precisely on his and Demi Moore’s 6th wedding anniversary, she went into hiding and hired legal representatives. She’s now made her first appearance since the scandal.
As we also reported on various occasions, Leal reportedly told friends that she slept with Kutcher last weekend in San Diego, while Demi was in New York promoting a new film.
The friends ran to the tabloids to spill the beans, forcing Leal to go into hiding to weigh her legal options in the lawsuit that the two celebrities were reportedly thinking of filing against her.
The Daily Mail has photos of Leal out and about in California, which means that, at least for the time being, she’s done hiding.
“Sara Leal was pictured stepping out for the first time since the scandal broke yesterday. And the pretty 23-year-old Texan looked in a somber, serious mood as she ran errands in Newport Beach,” the tab writes.
It’s clear from the photos that she had no intention of having her picture taken by the paparazzi - and she probably didn’t expect them to be there either.
“With her long blonde hair loose around her shoulders, Leal sported tight blue jeans and a black cropped sweater and gold chain as she strolled through the California town,” the Mail says.
“She wore a pair of sunglasses, but still seemed eager to hide, at one point trying to conceal her face with her hand,” adds the same publication.
Nevertheless that doesn’t change the fact that, only a few days ago, reports online were saying that she wanted $250,000 (€183,635) from the media for a first, exclusive interview on the alleged fling.
At the same time, she was believed to have reached out to Kutcher and his camp, telling them that she was willing to keep mum on the topic if they paid her over what she was asking or would get for an interview.
