The release of Ashton Kutcher’s “JOBS” movie, which chronicles the early life of Apple’s iconic co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, has been delayed by Open Road Films.

The news comes via The Hollywood Reporter, which learned from “insiders” that “Open Road wanted more time to market the film.” No other specifics have been given.

Not that people are waiting on the edge of their seats to catch the movie. Some of the first reviews of the JOBS biopic starring Ashton Kutcher are quite mixed.

The protagonist’s striking resemblance to the late Steve Jobs has not been enough to impress some reviewers, while Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak himself has called the script embarrassingly inaccurate.

That’s not to say this is the consensus among those who’ve watched the film. A lot of reputable voices in the entertainment industry have praised the film for Kutcher’s ability to accurately impersonate the mercurial young Steve Jobs. At the end of the day, everyone’s entitled to their opinion.
