The highly anticipated JOBS biopic starring Ashton Kutcher is finally debuting in cinemas, but not everyone is happy with the way the movie turned out.

Namely, the people who were there in that iconic garage in Palo Alto, California, side by side with the two Steves as Apple Computer was being founded.

Daniel Kottke and Bill Fernandez, two former employees from the early days of Apple who worked with Wozniak and Jobs, reveal in an interview over at Slashdot that some scenes in the JOBS movie, are totally off.

Kottke and Fernandez say some scenes in the garage, and one part where Wozniak quits Apple are depicted completely wrong in the film.

The same goes for Jobs big speech at the West Coast Computer Faire, with Kottke (pictured above next to Jobs) pointing out, “That speech that he gives never happened, for sure. [laughs] It was just a booth at a computer show.”

Pretty disappointing stuff, but it doesn’t come as a surprise considering what the critics had to say after the film’s Sundance showcase.
