Ashton Kutcher was chosen the most powerful young star, according to a poll made by Teen People's edition that hits newsstands Friday. Ashton, 27, who's dating actress Demi More, achieved stardom on the Fox television series That '70s Show and has gone on to star in his own MTV hidden camera show Punk'd.
Kutcher has starred in the films "Dude, Where's My Car?" (2000), "Just Married" (2003), "The Butterfly Effect" (2004) and Guess Who (2005). He also auditioned for the role of Danny Walker in "Pearl Harbor", but lost out to Josh Hartnett.
"Ashton's high score proves that he can not only open a movie, but he is also producing a successful TV show and he's developing another one" says Amy Barnett, managing editor at Teen People.
"We've seen an increase in young celebrities that control their own media empires," Amy Barnett added. The mag's young readers "understand that true Hollywood power is not just being a great artist. It's being a creative force."
"Mean Girl" Lindsay Lohan took the second place, while Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom was voted in the third place.
Hilary Duff (No. 4) has a multimillion-dollar accessories line called Stuff by Hilary Duff.
