14 DAY TRIAL // Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis never pose for pictures for the paparazzi if they can help it, don’t talk about their romance with the press, and have never walked a red carpet together as a couple. As such, it’s not difficult to understand why the photo attached to this article went viral immediately.
It was posted to Kutcher’s Twitter account and comes with the simple caption “Sunset #nofilter.” It’s blurry but you can tell it shows Mila and Ashton sharing a kiss at what looks like a table at a restaurant, or outside an establishment of the kind.
Ashton and Mila have been dating since April 2012 and they’re yet to “go public” with their romance by making it official on the red carpet. This is why his posting this photo proved of great interest to his fans, but Ashton probably thought it was time for some form of “statement,” now that his divorce from Demi Moore is finally official.
The photo couldn’t have come at a better time, since an increasing number of reports suggest that Mila is actually pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Meanwhile, contradicting rumors claim that either they’re making wedding plans, or fighting over a prenup and probably not getting married at all.
In April this year, in an interview to promote a film, Ashton tried to explain why he didn’t want to go down the same route as other celebrities and sell his work by dishing out details about his personal life, a distinction that Mila too had made several times before, when she was asked about her love life on press junkets.
“You know, I've learned the hard way how valuable privacy is. And I've learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship be private,” he said.
Clearly, that doesn’t include sharing the ever-so-rare couple selfie with his 15.3 million followers on Twitter.
