Following days of reports that Sara Leal, the girl who claimed to have had a fling with actor Ashton Kutcher, who is married to Demi Moore, wanted money for her story, she is finally speaking to the media. However, she claims, she’s not getting paid a dime for it.

The other day, two separate interviews with Leal came out, both marking a long period of silence since the initial report of the affair got out in the press.

Naturally, everyone assumed that she’d gotten paid for them, at least the $250,000 (€182,096) she was believed to have requested for an exclusive.

The Today is also following the story – and they even have video of the interview she gave to Us, one of the two publication to which she’s been speaking.

In the clip, Leal can be heard saying the same things that have also been printed in Us and of which we informed you yesterday.

However, it also includes a firm denial from the Us editor that they paid money for the interview. She (the editor) says that Sara is young and accomplished and wouldn’t have to “prove” anything by going to the media.

In other words, Sara is only speaking about the one-night stand she had with Kutcher because she wants to clear her name and not because she’s trying to cash in on her newfound fame by association.

The video also shows Leal posing in a garden for the Us Weekly photoshoot. The editor doesn’t say whether she was paid for that or not.

Other celebrity pundits interviewed by The Today believe that, while Leal may be telling the truth about her affair with Kutcher, he is determined to fix the damage done and not give up on the marriage with Demi Moore.

Reportedly, he’s still referring to her as “my wife” on the set of “Two and a Half Men.”
