Late last month, word got out that Ashton Kutcher had finally popped the big question to girlfriend of 2 years and very good friend Mila Kunis. Insiders are now saying that, even though she said yes, they are yet to start planning their wedding.

And it’s not necessarily because they can’t agree on a prenup, as speculated before, but rather because they don’t feel any kind of pressure to rush down the aisle.

Previous reports had it from so-called reliable sources that Ashton was wary of getting married again without an iron clad prenup, a mistake he made when he tied the knot with Demi Moore. Mila didn’t agree with him, thinking that having one such contract drawn up would be, more or less, a jinx on their marriage, kind of like a bad omen saying they would be getting a divorce down the road.

Pals are now saying for People magazine that the reason they’re not rushing to plan a wedding is because they simply don’t feel like there’s any reason to hurry.

“It won't necessarily be a short engagement. They haven't begun planning the wedding yet,” explains one such unnamed friend. The two actually got engaged a couple of weeks ago and they wanted to keep the news a secret from the press for a while. Clearly, they’re in no rush.

“It's a simple band with a round diamond,” the insider says of the engagement ring, which was spotted on Mila’s hand for the first time a few days ago. “No baguettes, no insets. It's not ostentatious, like a Kim Kardashian ring. She doesn't need a security team with her to wear it. It's a lot like her and Ashton.”

“He likes her spunk and willingness to experiment with things he likes to do. They have a lot in common. Ashton is very much in love,” another source chimes in.

Mila and Ashton met on the set of the sitcom “That ‘70s Show” and he was actually her first-ever kiss. They remained good friends once shooting was over and started spending more time together as his marriage to Demi, his first time around the married block, fizzled out.

However, they denied they were romantically involved until there was no more denying possible. One could argue that they didn’t want the world to know that they were dating while he was still legally married to Demi.

The divorce battle was particularly nasty because she wanted a cut of the money he made after they separated, on the grounds that they were still married by law. He is said to have offered her eventually a “very generous” settlement: not as generous as Bruce Willis’ but close enough. Allegedly, of course.
