Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been together for more than 2 years, are engaged and have recently welcomed their first child together, daughter Wyatt Isabelle, but they still somehow manage to keep most details of their private life out of the tabloids.

Neither is willing to talk about very private matters in interviews either, so it’s surprising to see Ashton do the exact opposite of what he’s been doing so far.

We assume fatherhood is too amazing an experience not to share with the rest of the world.

Ashton and Mila are doing this together, without any kind of outside help

Ashton was on Conan O’Brien the other night and he gushed about his first-ever fatherhood experience. He didn’t just gush: he answered every question and seemed unstoppable, and words came out of his mouth so fast it looked as if he was afraid someone might cut in before he could finish what he wanted to say.

Knowing how private and, on occasion, aggressively protective he is, this is quite a refreshing change from the norm.

You will find the adorable video embedded below.

Ashton has revealed that he and Mila are not receiving any help with baby Wyatt, even though they’re first-time parents and must have moments when they feel overwhelmed by everything. He says they’re not employing a night nurse or a nanny or “any of that stuff.”

He also talks about how they came up with the name Wyatt Isabelle, and perhaps more adorable than the actual story is the fact that Ashton keeps saying “we” when he talks about the time when Mila was pregnant. Isabelle, we find out, comes from the name of Mila’s grandfather, Itzhak; Wyatt was just a perfect fit, which they knew the moment they uttered it.

Ashton is clearly psyched about this whole fatherhood thing

Not that anyone expected him to be a bad or indifferent parent, but it’s surprising to see him THIS excited. The fact that he’s been so reserved about everything else in his life until now, including the pregnancy and his engagement to Mila, makes his excitement stand out even more.

The handsome actor clearly loves his new baby and their new life together. He jokes that he’s come to see himself as some kind of baby whisperer superhero, if only because he’s found the way to make Wyatt stop crying: so his biggest guilty pleasure right now is handing her over to friends, just so he can take her back later, saying “I got this” when she starts crying.

He is also thinking ahead already, admitting on Conan to reserving all domain names based on all possible combinations of her name: web domains, Instagram and Twitter handles, the works, because he doesn’t want his daughter’s name to be used for adult content.
