Ashton Kutcher may be a lot of things (many of them negative, if we're to believe reports) but he has never been known as a rude guy. This has changed since he started working on the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic “jOBS: Get Inspired.”

Given the popularity of all Apple products and of Steve Jobs himself, it's no wonder there's a lot of interest in the indie film, especially since Kutcher seems to be the ideal choice as far as looks go.

A new report in Radar Online notes that he's striving to make a very convincing Jobs, so much so that he's actually taken to not breaking character even when the cameras stop rolling.

Indeed, Ashton Kutcher, the handsome former model known mostly for his roles in rom-coms and comedies, has gone Method.

At least, that's what insiders on set are saying: he's so hellbent on becoming Steve Jobs that he's even started being rude to staff in between takes.

“He’s not been nice to people on set. He’s been really mean to everyone, even when he’s off camera,” a spy is quoted as saying, adding that Ashton won't even let Mila Kunis, his girlfriend, visit him when he's at work because he's afraid “he'll break character” because of her.

“I’ve heard that on Two and a Half Men Ashton is really cool and friendly, even to the extras, and a great guy – that he’s friendly with everyone and goofs around, but it’s been the polar opposite on this movie,” the insider goes on to say.

The spy also recalls one particular incident, in which he was preparing for a scene in which his Jobs has to fire a bunch of people – and Ashton kept acting on set, when the cameras weren't even rolling yet as if he owned the place and was on the verge of firing anyone who might cross him one way or another.

Still, chances are Ashton too is feeling the pressure that's been on this project ever since it was announced.

“I think there’s a lot of pressure on Ashton so that’s why he’s being so meticulous about the part, and why he’s being so method. He wants to be taken seriously as an actor and sees this as his big chance,” the tipster explains.

“jOBS: Get Inspired” also stars Matthew Modine, Josh Gad, Ahna O’Reilly, and is directed by Joshua Michael Stern.
