Ashton Kutcher, the leading actor in an indie biopic based on the life of a young Steve Jobs, has been spotted dressed in the Apple co-founder’s flagship turtleneck-and-jeans outfit as he was on his way to the movie set.

Photographed carrying a drink as he was heading towards the set, Kutcher seems to have taken his role seriously. So seriously that he appeared to be walking and behaving like the late CEO himself.

Kutcher already resembles Jobs in real life, let alone dressed up in a black turtleneck, jeans and New Balance sneakers.

All he’s missing are the flagship John Lennon glasses, which didn’t come about in Steve Jobs life until later when he was in his 40s. In fact, the same goes for the whole outfit.

There’s a chance Kutcher deliberately let himself be spotted in full character as he made his way to the set of the late Apple CEO's biopic. There has been some debate as to whether he’s the man for the role.

Indeed, there are not too many good actors out there who are suitable for the role of Steve Jobs, a mercurial guy whose complex personality made him the subject of several books.

However, during interviews, the actor (best known for his role in Two and a Half Men) revealed that he had been sitting on the edge of his seat waiting to be tapped for the role of Steve Jobs.

Going by the photos, he seems more than content with the biopic based on the script by Matt Whiteley and directed by Joshua Michael Stern.

Sony Pictures is also working on a full-fledged movie based on the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson.

Last time we checked, the producers were still deciding between George Clooney and Noah Wyle, the latter having already portrayed Steve Jobs once in the 1999 film Pirates of Silicon Valley.
