Almost 2 years after their split, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have finalized their much-mediated divorce. Their 6-year marriage ended when he was caught cheating on her with a stranger he’d picked up in a bar, precisely on their wedding anniversary.

To make matters even worse, it was the second time in 2 years this happened and, even though they still tried to work it out for some months afterwards, they eventually agreed that their marriage was beyond saving.

Since then, they have been duking it out in court, with Moore reportedly eager to have her revenge on Ashton for cheating on her by taking him to the cleaners. Well, it didn’t happen.

TMZ reports that she isn’t getting any spousal support in the divorce, and she’s definitely not getting a share of the fortune Ashton made after they separated, with his huge salary on “Two and a Half Men” and several, very inspired business investments.

Word has it that Demi was arguing that, because she was cheated on, she should have been awarded spousal support. She also said that she was entitled to a chunk of the millions Ashton made after the separation because, legally, they were still married.

However, the divorce took place in California, a no-fault state, and this means that she wasn’t entitled to spousal support on the grounds of cheating. As for the other request, it was denied because, even though married, they were effectively separated.

“As for the division of property, we're told Ashton was ‘a little more generous than he had to be,’ but they basically split the stuff they acquired during the marriage. Demi didn't do nearly as well as she did when she divorced Bruce Willis,” TMZ says.

Insiders confirm for the e-zine that “both [are] satisfied with the settlement” and, we imagine, with knowing that they can finally close the book on this chapter and move on.

It is said that Ashton had been waiting for the divorce to be final to pop the big question to his current girlfriend Mila Kunis. Expect to hear engagement reports every time she steps out with a new ring on her engagement finger.
