Ashley Tisdale Denies Boob Job

The Disney teenage lady idols of late have developed a reputation for being rather unreliable and making a habit out of disappointing their fans. For those of you who still doubt that, the words "Vanessa Hudgens" are probably enough to evoke a long streak of painfully shameful weeks lost in speculation over the half a dozen or so photos depicting the HSM star naked, flaunting her boobs and smiling for the camera. Although the scandal has now blown over, some of the shame remains. Same thing – of course, on a much smaller scale – goes for her best friend and co-star Ashley Tisdale, who had the very bad idea of getting a nose job – with the direct result that rumors are now flying regarding more surgery the singer / actress allegedly undertook – including a boob job.

Ashley was so annoyed - that is, scared by the aforementioned rumors - that she officially denied having more work done in an interview with People magazine. "People are saying I had another nose job and I did not. That's ridiculous", she stated. "I was away in New Zealand filming a movie [They Came From Upstairs] and so people think I went away to have more work done. But I didn't", she added. Tisdale came under heavy criticism last November, when she had nose surgery, which she claimed was meant to correct a deviated septum and also smooth out two bumps she had from when she had previously fractured her nose. However, many people claimed that the deviated septum operation didn't necessarily require the whole shape of her nose to be altered.

Ashley, however, disagrees – and there's no better defense than going on an offensive herself. "[Tabloids] have doctors talk about what they think I did with my surgery, but they did not examine me. They don't know what I have inside my nose. It's very irresponsible for a medical professional to comment on someone whom they have not examined", stated Scott Appel, Ahsley's representative. Tisdale is also very critical of the rumors that claim she had a boob job. "Look at me. Does it look like it to you? No! It's ridiculous. I'm not for plastic surgery. I'm not going to get another surgery. I can promise you that", she stated. She better be careful with those promises, though – she might end up regretting them in a few years. Britney Spears deja-vu, everyone?
