It can happen to the best of us but, with an army of stylists and makeup pros, one would rarely expect it to happen to A-list stars. Ashley Judd is the latest to fall a victim to bad makeup, unveiling what looked like a face full of flour at a recent book signing.

As E! Online also puts it, Ashley, who is now promoting her tell-all book, joined a rather long line of A-listers to have makeup mishaps in the spotlight.

Either they have no mirrors in their home or they’re victims to some devious makeup artist who’s out to have a good laugh at their expense, but this is a trend that has to stop, says the e-zine.

“Now Ashley Judd, at a book-signing event for her already-infamous memoir, is the latest victim of the mysterious mineral monster,” E! says.

“Is there some sort of Flour Fight Club going on in La-La Land? Are celebrity makeup artists just getting sloppy?” the celebrity publication asks.

“Whatever the deal is, perhaps we should pitch in and send these gals some compact mirrors or something,” says E!.

And it does make a solid point there, because Judd is just one of the many female celebrities to come out in public looking like they dipped their face in flour or have just finished some baking contest (that mysteriously also implied a flour fight).

Before her, the same happened to Uma Thurman and Eva Longoria, both well known for how impeccable they always look at public events, especially at those where photographers are also present.

Back to Ashley, as E! says, her book “All that Is Bitter and Sweet” is already “infamous,” because it paints a picture of the Judd family that’s reportedly already gotten its members hot under the collar.

Ashley talks of abuse and depression, her mother’s hunger for fame and money, along with other, very inconvenient topics. She also says that rap music is “the contemporary soundtrack of misogyny.”
