14 DAY TRIAL // Though it was believed she was trying a reconciliation with ex Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson was photographed just the other day with another man – and their body language left no room for doubt as to how their relationship stood.
Simpson shocked the world when she announced she was divorcing Pete after just 3 years of marriage, earlier this year.
After that, she was still photographed with Pete out and about, and several reports claimed a reconciliation was definitely a possibility.
As it turns out, Ashlee has already moved on, PopEater reports: she’s dating “Boardwalk Empire” star Vincent Piazza. Not only that, but she’s also confident enough in their relationship to step out with him as a couple.
“The singer was spotted out with ‘Boardwalk Empire’ actor, Vincent Piazza, in New York City and the two looked to be way more than just friends,” PopEater writes.
Indeed, the two held close to each other and even shared a smooch in front of the cameras, thus making a silent but just as clear statement about their romance.
“They walked, arms cozily wrapped around each other, down the street with their iced beverages and smiles from ear to ear only stopping for a brief breather, sitting on the curb, locking lips right in front of the snapping paparazzi,” the e-zine writes, adding that the two clearly made no secret of their budding romance.
“Simpson and soon-to-be ex-husband, Pete Wentz, were thought to be reconciling when they were seen out with their son Bronx back in March, but from the looks of her body language with Piazza, a reconciliation with Wentz is the furthest thing from her mind,” the e-zine adds.
As for what might have gone wrong in Ashlee and Pete’s marriage, rumors are still making the rounds that she was too much of a wild party animal to be tied down to Pete, who is more of a homebody than she is.
