I've been looking at these Ashlee Simpson bikini shots for the past ten minutes trying to think if they make any difference in the celebrity world or not. I mean, no, not a very BIG difference, but you know what it's like - celebrity bikini pictures may impact your life on all sorts of levels. Think of seeing, say, Adriana Lima frolicking around the beach in a bikini. No, actually, scratch that - as sexy as the Brazilian supermodel is, once you see her in a bikini that's bound to send you searching the web for her rumored sex tape, and once you find it, looking at bikini shots will definitely have a very stale flavor to it. But see, even that can act as example for the way in which celebrity bikini shots can turn your... well, not life but certainly your day round. Think of seeing Paris Hilton in a bikini. No, that's not a good example - or maybe it is - seeing how we all know 20 minutes later the socialite would find a very creative way of exposing her vagina, so better leave it at that.
Well, as far as Ashlee is concerned, we all know that she looks reasonably OK in a bikini, even though she does occasionally display a very strange fashion sense when choosing her swim wear. But I like this green bikini - and I love the fact that she looks as if she's about to take it off in the second shot, all the more reason for us to celebrate. I also think that Ashlee looks a lot better when she's relatively far from her officially unofficial Fall Out Boy(friend) and "emo" extraordinaire Pete Wentz.
Who, by the way, displays a definitely suspect taste when it comes to... whatever those things he's wearing are, I don't even have the heart to call them swimming trunks. If these two really are together, can they at least try for a little more chromatic unity? Those colors are really hurting my eyes.
But then again, I think I grew to appreciate Ashlee for her green bikini, especially since she really seems to be enjoying herself. I mean yes, we all know celebrities can really give us headaches, especially when some of the more anorexic-chic ladies out there decide it's a good thing to put on a bikini and hit the beach. So better thank your lucky stars we're not looking at Amy Winehouse or Tara Reid naked. Now that would have really put me off eating today. Well, here we are, then, everybody - enjoy Ashlee and pray that she doesn't start losing weight anytime soon.
