Happy times for Jessica Simpson's younger sister, Ashlee. The singer has just announced her engagement to actor Evan Ross, with whom she has been in a relationship for a couple of months now.

The happy bride-to-be made the announcement via Twitter, where she wrote “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!,” revealing that the joyous occasion took place during their vacation in Hawaii.

And since any news of an engagement isn't complete without showing off the ring, the “Little Miss Obsessive” singer also posted a picture of her in the arms of her new fiancée, while sporting a huge rock on her ring finger.

The couple can be seen posing in a serious gaze, surrounded by a halo of glared light, for an artistic effect.

This isn't the first time Ashlee will be walking down the aisle. She was previously married to “Fallout Boy” singer Pete Wentz from 2008 until 2011 when they got a divorce. The marriage resulted in a child, 5-year-old Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

In February of 2011, she filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” and demanding joint legal custody with visitation for Wentz but sole physical custody and spousal support.

It was also around this time that she changed her name from Simpson-Wentz back to Simpson. The divorce was finalized in November 2011.

She began dating actor Evan Ross, famous son of singer Diana Ross in July 2013. Previously, she was in a relationship with actor Vincent Piazza from June 2011 until November 2012 when they split up.

Right now, Ashlee will be racing at the altar against her older sister, Jessica, who is engaged to Eric Johnson and has also made public her intentions of marrying sometime during the course of this year. It will be interesting to see which of the two sisters will be the first to say their “I do's.” Our money's on Ashlee.
