The former brunette, now lavishing blonde, announced that she is to take her talent one step further. Destination? The big screen.

Apparently, the not so talented sister of Jessica isn't considering following her in her movie career and accepting such easy parts as she played in the box-office comedy 'Dukes of the Hazard', but plans to have a more diverse career.

Ashlee would prefer to play 'quirky characters' in 'indie-style' films. And she went on to explain in an interview: 'Those are the ones I know I'll have to stretch out of myself to become. That's what I want right now. But I'm not necessarily jumping into one certain role. I want to have a more diverse career'.

Holding your breath? Well, don't, because the singer also added that, first of all, she will be taking a long and relaxing vacation. After that, she will record a second album and will start looking at various scripts before choosing the part that will do her justice.
