Today, Ashampoo released a major update for their disc writing software, Burning Studio. Version 14 of the bundle brings to the table not only a fresh interface design but also data security features and increased functionality.

Data protection is achieved in Ashampoo Burning Studio 14 through disc encryption, a feature that secures the information on the written media using industry standard algorithms.

If you’re using the application to rip Audio CDs finding the right cover artwork should no longer be a problem because Burning Studio can do this automatically for you.

Also new in this revision is the possibility to back up images and files from external devices running Android and iOS (iPods included), be they smartphones or tablets. The developer informs that all common devices are supported, so not all of them might work with the software.

Ashampoo Burning Studio 14 is a complete authoring tool that works with CDs to DVDs and Blu-ray discs. It can burn and extract data, create HD slideshows as well as booklets and covers.
