While most systems make do with whatever air coolers each component comes with, there are those that need liquid in order to make sure whatever tweaks and overclocking they perform isn't overly harmful to their systems, and Asetek has just addressed their needs.

Many PC cases on the high-end are equipped with pre-drilled watercooling holes, and the three products that Asetek has prepared mean to make use of them.

Two of them, the 545LC and 565LX, are intended for any system that employ Intel LGA 775, LGA 1156 or LGA 1366 processors, as well as those based on AM2, AM2+ and AM3 chips from Advanced Micro Devices.

They boast a copper plate and a factory-sealed liquid loop, plus a pump with a MTBF of 50,000 hours.

The third liquid cooler is the 585LX and mostly shares the above mentioned specs, but is designed for dual-socket systems.

"Our OEM and System Building partners are telling us space saving design is increasingly important in commercial applications as businesses seek to increase productivity without adding real estate," said Steve Branton, Director of Marketing at Asetek.

"Consumers, particularly outside North America, also appreciate compact design. Asetek’s new 92mm liquid CPU coolers enable companies such as BOXX Technologies to help their customers achieve these goals," he added.

The 545LC has a radiator and a single fan with a diameter of 92 mm, whereas the other two each boasts a pair of similar spinners.

This means that they are intended for cases with support for 92mm fans instead of 120mm models, making them more specialized than other liquid cooling systems out there, since 120mm-equipped chassis are more common.

Finally, since they are entirely factory-sealed, the products can be installed just as easily as one would a common fan.

The 545LC and 565LX should already be selling, while the 585LX will become available around the middle of December.
