An artist in the UK has created an unusual work, a building that looks like it is melting into the street.

The upper part of the building is exposed, showing internal brick work. The facade appears to be sliding down, as if it is a paper cover just falling away.

The title of the work is "From the knees of my nose to the belly of my toes," the Mirror describes.

The house has been created by 28-year-old Alex Chinneck and it is for sale at £100,000 ($161,000 / €118,900). It is located on Godwin Road in the Cliftonville area.

Chinneck took a mid-19th century house donated to him and transformed it, completing the job in a month, from August to September.

“I was aware of this idea that people have a choice whether or not they go through the doors of an art gallery, and often they don't because they feel intimidated, so I think public art is important,” he describes.
