Arsene Wenger is certainly not very happy with the latest allegations on Reyes' leaving Arsenal. During the past few weeks, the Spaniard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Still, the player's statements did not reflect a very convincing attitude from him.

One day, he tells the Spanish media that he wants to get out of the Premiership and join the Madrid giants, the other, he tells the English media how much he loves the club. His contradictory statements did
not, however, trouble Arsene Wenger one bit. The Frenchman stated, a few weeks ago, that Madrid should forget about transferring Reyes or Fabregas from the Emirates Stadium.

Now, just hours before Arsenal's European campaign, Wenger denied all allegations about his player leaving the squad. "I have read everything on one side, and also the opposite as well. But the Spanish media have announced me having signed at Real Madrid before and since that I have at least one concrete experience that shows you cannot trust them", stated Wenger about the latest rumors.

More, he stated that Reyes will start for Arsenal against Dinamo Zagreb, making his move to Real Madrid quite impossible - since the Spanish side won't be able to use him in this Champions League season. "I extended Jose's contract last year, so that is quite clear about how I regard his future at Arsenal Football Club. He is in the squad for Zagreb and if I decide to play him, he will play. There is no problem", concluded Wenger.

In the meantime, Reyes was caught by the English tabloids wearing a Real Madrid tie shirt a few days ago. According to the Spanish media, he is very close to signing with Capello's side.
