Arsenal Cannot Buy Juventus Footballers

Arsene Wenger may be the only coach in the world right now - I'm talking about big and powerful clubs - that doesn't look at Juventus as a potential market for signing new players. After the Calciopoli investigation is over and the verdict has been finally announced last week, all the European "giants" started the battle for the Juventus players. Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Chelsea are all trying to sign some of the world champions.

No doubt about it, Cannavaro seems to be the most wanted player in Italy. And that's understandable, since the Italian captain proved to be one of the best footballers
at the World Cup - for most specialists, he was actually the best. Fabio is likely to leave the Italian football and head for Madrid, to reunite with former coach Fabio Capello. Still, not every important club in Europe decided to take a shot at Juventus while down. And Arsenal is one of those who stated that the Turin is not an option for transferring players.

The announcement was made by Coach Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal technician explained why the Juve players are unlikely to be playing with the "gunners" for the next season. "We can't afford to do it, which is why we're not overly concerned with what's going on at Juventus. It's very unlikely we'll make a move for the players because the wages are too high for us. What's happened in Italy will inevitably disturb the market because you have a lot of players coming on to it. But don't forget Juventus players are very well paid and not many clubs in the world can afford to pay these wages", said the Frenchman.

And he is most definitely right, since Juventus will do anything in their power to compensate the relegation to Serie B. More, the new president of Juventus already stated, soon after the verdict was made public, that the players' wages will remain the same. And we all know that Juventus was the most powerful - financially speaking - club in Italy. And the Fiat sponsorship seems to be saving them from total financial collapse.

Arsenal was supposedly interested in Juventus' goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. Still, it seems that AC Milan has the first chance of signing the world champ, since the Milanese side want to replace Dida in the line-up squad.
