James Cameron was instrumental to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s acting career, directing him in “Terminator,” “Terminator 2,” and “True Lies” and, word has it, he’s looking forward to teaming up with him once more.

The former Governor of California is making a comeback as an action movie star but, truly, he could not dream any bigger than the villain role in “Avatar 2,” which is precisely what Cameron has in mind for him.

Latino Review claims to have it on good authority that the two are in talks to see how they could bring this about, and get Arnie to appear in the insanely anticipated sequel.

In the meantime, Cameron is working on the script for the entire series (“Avatar 2,” 3, and 4), with some help from Josh Friedman (“War of the Worlds”), Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), and Shane Salerno (“Savages”).

Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver are confirmed to reprise their roles.
