Arnold Schwarzenegger has accepted that his marriage to Maria Shriver is over, despite reports saying not very long ago that he was desperately trying to win her back. A 25-year-old brunette seems to be the one helping him get over his heartbreak. TMZ reports that, last Friday, Arnold and a mystery woman were acting very lovey-dovey at a Hollywood restaurant, thus confirming that, if he ever planned to
win Maria back, he's not thinking about it anymore.
“Arnold was at Bagatelle restaurant in West Hollywood Friday night and lasered in on a 25-ish-year-old brunette. The 64-year-old actor quickly made his move... with his tongue,” TMZ writes, leaving no room for reading between the lines.
“But all good things – like marriages - must come to an end, and Arnold and the chick left separately. On his way out, photogs asked him about Sage Stallone and eventually fired off a question about the chick... but he wasn't in the mood to kiss and tell,” TMZ goes on to say.
As all celebrity gossip lover must already know, Arnold's marriage to Maria went belly up when word got out that he had fathered a child with the family's housekeeper and, to make matters even worse, that he'd known about it all along.
Maria took her time in filing for divorce, which prompted a lot of speculation on chances for reconciliation.
Even after she did, some rumors still said the two were talking and
trying to work things out, for the sake of their once beautiful relationship and the kids they had together.
TMZ is now saying that Maria is done wanting to get a divorce, even though she was the one who filed the papers.
“We're told it's definitely going to happen. But here's the twist... After the story broke that Arnold fathered the maid's kid and Maria Shriver filed for divorce, he begged Maria to take him back, but she threw up roadblocks, demanding that he clean up his act,” the celebrity e-zine writes.
“On top of that, Maria changed her mind constantly – one day wanting a divorce and the next wanting to reconcile. Now we're told Arnold wants the divorce and Maria is the one who's tormented... because she wants him back, but it's not going to happen,” adds the same media outlet.
Maria and Arnold separated in May 2011, after no less than 25 years of marriage.
