Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirmed for ‘Terminator: Salvation’

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to the movie franchise that put him with A-listers and made the “I’ll be back” line go down in history has been subject to much speculation ever since “Terminator: Salvation” started shooting. Now, fans have confirmation of Arnold’s cameo and it’s coming straight from one of the actors, Terry Crews, thanks to MTV News.

MTV managed to sit down with Crews and ask the question so many fans were dying to have answered. It may come as a surprise (or not, depending on whom one asks) but the Governor is actually going to be making a cameo in the much expected fourth film in the franchise, scheduled for release on May 22. Unfortunately, Crews was not able to offer more details, since Schwarzenegger’s scenes were all shot in the biggest secrecy and no one but those involved had access to the script, the actor explained.

“Exactly.” Crews said when asked whether Arnold would make a cameo in “Terminator: Salvation.” “There are a lot of guys in that movie. I mean, ‘Terminator 4’ is very big.” he then added. “That’s it. And so am I.” the actor also said when pressed for more details. “I don’t know; I haven’t seen it. They only gave out pages of the script. It was crazy. It was very, very secretive. Believe me – when you see it, that will be the first time I saw it.” Crews further explained.

Because of the secrecy surrounding Arnold’s presence on set, Crews is not able to tell MTV whether he will be reprising his role, do a voice-over or simply a cameo of just a couple of seconds. However, he adds, from what he’s seen so far regarding this movie, which is already poised as one the biggest box-office hits of the upcoming summer, whatever Schwarzenegger does will certainly not fail to cause an impression with fans and a huge splash with the audiences in general.

As it happens, “Terminator: Salvation” is not the only cameo that the Governor will be making in an action movie, since he’s also lined up for a small part in Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables.” Here too details are sketchy but, as they say, a confirmation is better than nothing at all, but do keep an eye on this space for more details.
